Don’t avoid using your basement because it is damp; take the time to solve the problem so that you can enjoy that space in your home. The first place to start is to identify the source of the moisture. If it is a corner or wall location then it is probably a leak in your pipes causing it. You will need to take care of the problem as quickly as possible. If your find damp areas under your bathroom floor or kitchen sink then you know where it is coming from.
