Getting over a break up, hmmm. More than likely, the break up and everything that comes along with it (all the drama) were not expected. And I know, that first moment, when you first hear it.., can be pretty tough. Even Devastating. You probably feel pretty powerless. That’s okay. What do you expect? You just had the rug pulled out from under you. Believe it or not, getting over a break up starts right here. Yeah, there is the initial shock of it all. But, it’s on!

My son had to have a little mole on the back of his neck removed. It was no big deal, but it was in a spot that his shirt collar would irritate it. When the doctor looked at it about a week and a half ago, she told him they would have to numb it up and cut it off. He got the typical “I know you don’t mean there’s a needle involved” look on his face. For the next week and a half he worried about it. Yesterday, when we went to the specialist to have it removed she told him they had some ointment they could put on his skin that would numb it up and they wouldn’t have to use a needle. Of course that meant we had to sit around for an hour to let the medicine take effect, but he said he was fine with that. (That was nice of him.) After the doctor put the ointment on his neck and left the room, he looked at me and said, “Man, I am SO spoiled!”
