OK, lemme make you happy by saying that Kalu the Crow, was a very friendly, chirpy little fellow, having scores of friends - nice blue pigeons, pecky wood-peckers, and savvy sparrows - in their beautiful garden of love and friendship.
The Schaumburg Library is probably one of the best libraries in all of Illinois. The resources it provides are better that most college libraries. They have programs for every age and every reading level.
The Schaumburg Library provides an environment that will teach your kids to love reading and learning. The under two story time will start toddlers on their journey to loving reading. The story time leader will provide an animated story experience and give tips to parents on how to get their children to love reading.
Mid-November it felt as if someone had thrown a bucket of cold water over me. My husband had lost his job and was suddenly part of the unemployment statistics. My initial reaction was to stress … something I’m very good at doing. And so I started to worry about my children and the Christmas holidays that lay ahead.
Now that the hustle and bustle of the holidays are over, if you’re like most people you’re tired. Now we could be boring like most people and set unrealistic goals that sound nice to say when someone asks what your New Year’s resolution is, but why be boring? Why just focus on that stubborn 10 pounds that won’t go away, or making more money? Why not focus on goals that will bring more lasting joy and peace to your life?
When traveling with children on an airplane, being prepared is the best way to overcome the stress and frustration that can accompany air travel. While most kids behave when on long flights, if your child is prone to tantrums, you may want to consider another mode of travel. Keeping your children in their seats and as quiet as possible when on a flight is your responsibility.
The average Indianapolis 500 party is either held as a theme for someone’s birthday or as a pre-race event before and sometimes during and after the big race. However you can add a dash of country western style and make the party even more interesting and fun, because an additional theme adds a plethora of new activities for guests. Why not open up a dance floor and blast out some good ole’ country music for the guests to dance too? Doing the electric slide sure builds up an appetite and the guests will be craving your delicious BBQ. Of course any party with a country western twist and Indianapolis 500 fans need to have some great BBQ.
