Treat Your Wife With Respect As The Weaker Partner

Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers. (1 Peter 3:7 NIV)

What does the above scripture mean? This scripture does not mean “weaker” partner in the sense of moral or intellectual ability, but in physical ability. What is Peter trying to teach to husbands? I think Peter is telling husbands to honor and respect their wives by protecting them against outside influences and criminal abuses. If a husband is a man of God he will protect his wife from harm.

The Death Of Timeshares

Timeshares attract people who like to travel. They are suppose to be a way for you to stay at beautiful resorts that you share ownership with and you get to stay at in most cases once a year. They can range anywhere from 15,000 to even $50,000. There are different types and there are some that you can stay at more than once a year.

Here is something that I discovered. There are travel memberships out there that let people stay at the same timeshares that many timeshare owners own, for even less than what owners are paying. These travel membership companies negotiate deals, make bulk reservations with resorts in advance and members of these travel memberships actually stay at these resorts at better rates than the timeshare owners themselves.

Our Vacation Trip To Brazil

To be honest with you, before going to Ceara, Brazil, my husband and I did not know what to expect there. We were conscious that it could be both, unbelievably good or bad. To our surprise, what we discovered for ourselves was a very pleasant weather, lots of sun, and superb beaches. All of the above make Ceara one of the main tourist destinations of Northeast in Brazil. It is located right below the line of the Equator, and has 573 km of coast along the Atlantic Ocean. The sea breeze softens the temperature, making the air to be about between 23C at night and 30C during the day all year around, and has a typical tropical climate.

My Journey To Rome

I decided to share my impressions about the trip to Rome as my emotions still linger…

The decision to go to Italy was made shortly before the journey, so we didn’t have much time to prepare for that. But we managed to organize the trip as quickly as possible. And, as it turned out, we planned everything very well.

Rome covered us in the suffocating heat as it’s extremely hot in Rome in August. We wanted to hire a taxi but didn’t like the faces of the drivers approaching us, so we decided to take a suburban train called “Leonardo Express”. I should say it’s rather comfortable and inexpensive.

Enjoy A Healthy Cruise Vacation - Top Ways

Top Ways to Enjoy a Healthy Cruise Vacation

Going on a cruise, or any vacation for that matter? Afraid you’ll gain weight? Scared you’ll stray from your nutrition goals? Want to reduce the chances of getting sick?

SANITATION

While boarding a cruise ship, you will likely be given the “option” to sanitize your hands. Some cruise lines require you to sanitize your hands when:

1. Re-boarding
2. Entering buffets
3. Entering dining rooms

See the pattern? One of the best ways to minimize your chance of on-board illness is simply to wash your hands. Just do it! And do it often.

Affiliation Hypnosis

When do our affiliations (political, religious, lifestyle, etc) get in the way of our ability to see clearly?

Do your affiliations cause you to turn your back on those who don’t see things the way you do?

This question has been up for me lately. I have noticed that as humans, we love to be affiliated with a group. Our affiliation often causes us to stand for the group’s beliefs and suppress or ignore our own, personal truths. There is a tendency to loose our clear vision in our desire to be included in something beyond ourselves.

Baby Boomers Discover Cruises

Are Baby Boomers that much different from other cruise passengers? According to many cruise line executives this one group of guests has probably created more changes in cruise ship programming than any other travelers since Noah’s Ark. The same group that made cell phones, BMW’s and flat screen TV’s a cultural phenomena is having a strong impact of how cruise lines go to market.

At a recent industry conference sponsored by Cruise Lines International Association, Marketing Chairman Dan Hanrahan (who is also president of Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Cruises) pointed out that the lifestyle and interests of baby boomers has led to some unique new experiences on board for all passengers.

Do Clothes Horses Wear Polo Shirts?

If clothes make the man, dressing for success is done one pant leg at a time. A scientist needs a white lab coat. Both male and female executives need to be well coiffed in tailored suits, but the female executive has a chip on her shoulder from hitting her head on the glass ceiling. Politicians, with their hands out and talking out both sides of their mouths, should wear conservative suits accessorized, of course, with flag pins.

Why You Should Go To Africa For Your Next Beach Holiday

Africa probably does not spring to mind as the first destination you would choose when planning a beach holiday, but there are many great reasons to give it a try. Cape Town in South Africa has up until recently always been “the” destination to go to if you wanted to go to Africa and enjoy the beach as well as all the other great things that only this great continent has to offer. Now there are new kids on the block and places like Zanzibar off the coast of Tanzania, Mombasa in Kenya and The Gambia have really come in to their own each offering their own unique selling points and flavour of Africa but all great beach holiday destinations.

California Vacation - Part 1 Of A Day By Day Diary

We normally take our vacation on the east coast of the Florida peninsula, so we purchased one week of timeshare vacation on Ormond Beach. It was near the end of summer season in 2005, and we had already taken our vacation that year so we decided to space bank our week until later.
