A trademark is a distinctive image, word or other thing that associates with a product or service. So, can you trademark your business name?

Most people think trademarks are logo oriented. In some ways, this is true. The Nike Swoosh is clearly a logo trademark that stands out in peoples minds. When you see it, you immediately think of Nike and its products. While logos can clearly be trademarked, what about a business name? The answer is both yes and no.

Can the free legal documents offered on the Internet be a replacement for consulting with an attorney?

In some cases, most definitely.

To give a simple example: The law in your state may require a written contract for the sale of goods over a certain value. Or for that matter, you may want to grant your parent a power of attorney to sell something on your behalf whilst away on vacation. It does not require specialized legal knowledge to compile a bill of sale for a motorcycle, automobile or other goods or to draw up a limited power of attorney.

The Problems;

There is always an obstacle for everyone when dealing with internet transaction, Malaysia is not left alone with these particular problems. The phenomena have tremendously pressured the local people in a quest for solution on constraints they have experienced now, then and after.
Now, what are the constraints?;

Some people look at me like I’m crazy when I say “I love my ferret”, but I do, and they can think what they want. My little guy brings me hours of enjoyment and sunshine to my gray days. The last thing in the world I want is for him to get sick, yet it’s a fact of life and in order to offer the best care (and quality of life), you have to keep an eye on what’s going on in their ferret worlds.

FERRET CARE NOTE: If you suspect your ferret is sick, take him to the veterinarian as soon as possible. Do not try to treat him at home.

Bed bugs have pestered humans from the time of cave dwellers, but in the 1950s there was a decline in bed bugs populations because of the increased use of DDT pesticides. When DDT was banned in the 70s and international travel began its rise, the bed bugs started to come back.

Tragedy was narrowly avoided. For days Mary lay where she had collapsed in the corner of her bedroom. If it wasn’t for an alert mail-carrier she would have died there as well.

But thankfully this story has a happier ending and in no small part due to a little piece of paper she carried with her in her purse.

Mary was 87 years old. She was single - never married and never had children.

Few people visited and she left her home rarely; just to attend church and to buy food.

The Internet was created by the United States government for universities to exchange knowledge. In 1994 Bill Clinton let private companies open up the Internet to the general public. What happened next is the wild Wild West. If you wanted to say hateful or racist things that you would never say if others knew, you would say them. If you had snapped a naked picture of your neighbor. You could put it online and anyone with a 56kb modem could look and there basically wasn’t anything anyone could do. Same deal with the URL address. Urls were basically given away, if someone else got there first they kept it. Things on the Internet are slowly changing as the Internet regulators tighten rules.
