The National Native American Bar Association NNABA serves those that practice Indian law. It exists to champion social, political, cultural, legal issues affecting American Indians, Native Hawaiians, and Alaska Natives. It offers regular, associate, and special memberships.

The NNABA represents Indian Nations in addition to individuals. The lawyers are traditionally dual citizens of the United States and their tribal nation. As tribal citizens, the members are responsible for helping to protect the governmental sovereignty of the Native American Tribal governments.

If one loves animals, then seeing an ad on television depicting animal cruelty can tug at the heart and make the anger boil. However, these ads are on television for one purpose; to make people more aware of the plight of animals and perhaps to convince more people to become active in organizations that are against animal cruelty. Organizations for animal rights are all over this world, and if one really wants to help, then they should try to find the best group and contribute whatever they can, either time or money, for the animals abused by neglect or violence.

Title III of the ADA was intended to remove barriers and make places of public accommodation for all type of individuals with disabilities and not just those that are wheel chair bound. The primary focus under the ADA is persons with physical disabilities and includes a very broad range of disabled individuals.

The congressional committee reports and the Justice Department look to a comparison between a disabled person and an average person. The Justice states that a person with a disability is one whose important life activities are restricted as to the conditions, manner, or duration under which they can be performed in comparison with most people.

The concept of double jeopardy stems from a clause in the Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution which states that:

“No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury […] nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.”
